Enzymedica Supports the Digestive Needs of the Autism Community

While autism is generally considered a neurological disorder, it is not uncommon for autistic children to face additional health challenges, including digestive difficulty, sensitivity, and intestinal inflammation.

“Common diet modifications for children on the autistic spectrum include gluten-free, casein-free, and the Specific Carbohydrate Diet” continues Gonzalez, “and supportive enzymes are often used.”

With no corn, rice, soy, potato, gluten, casein, sugar, or fillers, Digest Spectrum is the ideal digestive aid for individuals with multiple sensitivities. Also of note is the single capsule dose.

About the Enzymedica Sponsored Lectures at Autism One

Digest Spectrum will launch amid a flurry of educational activity during the conference. Enzymedica will host two interactive lectures in the Madison Room, and exhibit on behalf of the Autism Hope Alliance (AHA), the nonprofit educational foundation of which Enzymedica is a founding member.

Friday, May 28th, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Tom Bohager, expert author of “Everything you Need to Know about Enzymes,” and Enzymedica’s Founder and Operating Chairman will discuss the benefits of therapeutic enzyme nutrition in a lecture titled, “Enzyme Therapy and Autism.” Earlier that day, from 1:45 PM – 2:45 PM, Enzymedica’s Director of Autism Education, Kristin Selby Gonzalez will share, “Sensory Savvy Strategies 101.”

Autism One conference attendees who are present at either of the two Enzymedica hosted lectures may receive a complimentary bottle of Digest Spectrum, available at the Enzymedica booth following the lectures.

Special Foods for Special Needs

Along with Digest Spectrum, Enzymedica will launch a new instructional DVD at the conference, titled, “Let’s Go Shopping: Special Foods for Special Needs.”

I have a 10 yr. old son living with autism and have given him GlutenEase with Digest Gold for a couple of years now. These products have been a life saver for me and my son. Will the new product Digest Spectrum replace GlutenEase, Digest & Digest Gold? Also, when will Digest Spectrum be available to the public?

    Thank you,
    Jan Franklin
